Roland Chalifoux DO, is a practicing surgeon in Wheeling West Virginia.  As a victim of sham peer review, Dr. Chalifoux took on the Texas Medical Board and hospitals after being targeted for economic retaliation.  His article about HCQIA and Semmelweis Society International (2002) explains his continuing concerns with HCQIA and why he was elected as SSI President in 2007.
